The region's ability to provide businesses with access to both the UK market and the EU Single Market continues to create significant opportunities for companies looking to scale, trade internationally and attract investment. Azets is uniquely positioned to support the ambitions of businesses in Northern Ireland looking to harness those opportunities.

The announcement marks the first significant investment since Azets established its Northern Ireland presence through the acquisition of Muldoon in June. The business, which is led locally by Raymond Tiffney, employs more than 40 people and has built a strong reputation supporting businesses across the region.

Today’s announcement forms part of Azets’ wider growth strategy across in the region and support the firm’s ambition of becoming a top eight professional services firm in Northern Ireland by 2030. The expansion of the Belfast office is a key part of supporting that growth and strengthening both the firm’s offering in the UK and on the island of Ireland.

Raymond Tiffney, managing partner, Azets Northern Ireland, said: “Northern Ireland is an important market for Azets and one where we see substantial opportunities for growth in the years ahead.

“Creating 20 new roles over the next two years represents a significant investment in our business in Belfast. It will strengthen our service offering, enable us to support more clients and reinforce our position as a leading adviser to ambitious businesses across Northern Ireland.

“As more organisations look to grow across borders, navigate change and pursue new opportunities, demand for high-quality professional advice continues to increase.

“We want to ensure we have the talent, expertise and capacity to help entrepreneurial, owner-managed and family-owned businesses manage that complexity and achieve their growth objectives.

“Alongside the strength of our international network, this gives clients access to broader specialist expertise while continuing to benefit from the local relationships and personal service that have always been at the heart of our business.

“We're excited about the future and about continuing to build a team that combines deep local knowledge with the scale and capabilities needed to help businesses succeed in a rapidly changing environment.”

Recruitment for the new positions is now underway, with roles available in the firm's tax and audit teams. To learn more, visit: www.azets.ie.
