Westlink now OPEN after ‘fuel spill from a lorry’ - motorists had been asked seek alternative route
Police have confirmed that the Westlink is now OPEN - after an earlier fuel spill caused the major road to close.

An earlier post from TrafficwatchNI revealed delaysa on the Westlink due to “a large fuel spill from a lorry just after Grosvenor Road”.
And a later statement from the PSNI said: “The country-bound lanes of the Westlink have been closed from the Divis off slip due to a diesel spillage.
“Efforts are underway to clear the carriageway as quickly as possible but motorists are advised to seek an alternative route in the meantime.”
