Williamsons make it a hat-trick at Lurgan
Following on from last year’s triumph the Williamson’s Limousin bullock ‘Kingsman’ stood top of a strong store class.
Judge Sean McGovern, from Clogher, later tapped Kingsman out as his champion. Following Kingsman in reserve was Jack Smyth’s Limousin heifer ‘Miss Guinness’ who had earlier been second to the champion in the store class. This result followed up from last week’s victory in Ballymena.

Hide AdThe judge described them as having very little between them with the bullock just taking it on the day.
Other results on the day saw the Doyle family lifting first prize in the calf class. Robert Simpson took the honours in the Beef class, while the Cochrane family collected the pairs championship.
The Callaghans qualified their Limousin heifer for the Christopher Johnston Breeding Heifer Championship at the annual NICCEC summer spectacular on September 10 at Dungannon Farmers Mart.
