Wilsons Auctions awarded multi-million TITAN contract

WILSONS Auctions, the UK and Ireland's largest independent auction company, has been awarded a multi-million pound contract by the North West Regional Organised Crime Unit (TITAN) as the sole provider for the sale of all of its assets, including real estate.

The auction company will be responsible for assets seized by Merseyside Police, Cheshire Police, Lancashire Police, Cumbria Police, North Wales Police and Greater Manchester Police.

The contract is the first major tender win so far this year for the business which operates across the UK and Ireland. After securing a number of contracts with law enforcement agencies last year, the firm is now at the forefront in asset recovery, managing the asset realisation process for more than 40 police forces across the UK and Ireland.

Over recent years, Wilsons Auctions has paid in excess of £80 million into the public purse from the proceeds of asset recovery and will continue to add to this through its three year contract with TITAN.

“We are proud to manage the asset recovery of over 40 law enforcement agencies in the UK and Irish Republic and, by providing an online auction facility, we are opening up our business to a worldwide audience on behalf of our clients as well as accommodating physical bidders,” he added.
