When pigs fly - 'pigs' are flying over Northern Ireland and we have proof!

The people of Northern Ireland are a stubborn bunch and never shy away from a challenge and this includes a centuries old phrase used to denote an impossibility.

Northern Ireland man, David Todd, was out and about yesterday in Donaghadee, Co. Down when he spotted something in the sky above.

Was it a bird? No. Was it a plane? No. Was it flying pig? Well, sort of.

A cloud resembling a very happy pig was gliding across the sky.

Recognising the truly historic nature of what he was witnessing, David grabbed his mobile phone, took a quick photograph and posted it to social media.

The rest, they say, is history!
