Belfast boy wanted to play role in upcoming feature film - ‘no previous acting experience necessary’

A local casting company is looking for a youngster to play the role of a Belfast boy in an upcoming feature film.

Carla Stronge Casting has issued an appeal to locate someone who can play the role of a ‘9 year old boy’.

The post says: “We are looking for a 9 year old boy to play the lead role in an upcoming feature film.

“The boy is the youngest son of a Belfast family.

“He is smart, quick witted, with a sharp imagination.

“He is an ordinary boy, ideally with fair hair & blue eyes.

“No previous acting experience is necessary.

“This untitled film will be shooting later this year.

“The boy will need to have a Belfast accent or be confident doing one.

“If your child would like to be considered, please send their age, date of birth, height, location and a recent photo in one email to [email protected] ASAP.

“Applications must be submitted by an agent, parent or legal guardian - we will not deal directly with minors.

“Every application will be considered, but we cannot respond to all applicants. We will be in touch if we would like to invite your child to tape”.
