Education minister Paul Givan set to announce new guidance on the use of mobile phones in schools
Education minister Paul Givan is set to launch new guidance this morning on the use of mobile phones in schools.
It's thought the advice will say that mobile phones should not be visible during the school day, including at break and lunchtimes, according to the BBC.

The guidance is not legally binding, but schools will be expected to observe it in drawing up their own rules
