Bookings now open for 65 to 69-years olds to get vaccine

Tonight, the Department of Health has said people aged 65-69 can now book their Covid-19 vaccination appointments at one of NI’s seven regional vaccination centres.

The Department of Health this week announced a twin track approach to accelerating NI’s vaccination programme.

GPs will be focusing on the 70+ age group, while the seven regional vaccination centres will in parallel be offering offer vaccination appointments to 65-69 year-olds.

To fall within the 65-69 age bracket you must have been born between April 1, 1951, to March 31, 1956.

Age/identity checks will be conducted at the vaccination centres.
