These are the latest statistics of how many people have died in your local area - as of 9.30am on May 7.

According to the latest Department of Health statistics:

Belfast - 128

Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon - 46

Lisburn and Castlereagh - 37

Mid and East Antrim - 33

Causeway Coast and Glens - 29

Newry, Mourne and Down - 29

Ards and North Down - 25

Mid Ulster - 23

Derry City and Strabane - 20

Fermanagh and Omagh - 10

Not Known - 4

The statistics also reveal that to date there have been 274 deaths of people aged 80-years and older with COVID-19.

Meanwhile 129 people have perished with the virus in the 60-years to 79-years age group.

And 17 people have died in the 40-years to 59-years age group with coronavirus.

One death is classified as 'not known' age group and one death is said to be in the 20-years to 39-years age group.
