Four Covid-19 related deaths recorded in NI since Friday as four more patients admitted to ICU
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
It takes the total number of Covid related recorded in Northern Ireland since the beginning of the pandemic to 2,163.

Hide AdOne of the four recently deceased was aged between 40-59; two were aged 60-79 while the one remaining individual was 80 or older.


The four deaths occurred in the following local government districts: Belfast City Council area (one), Armagh City, Banbridge and Craigavon (one); Derry City and Strabane (one) and Fermanagh and Omagh (one).
One of the deceased was a female and three were male.
All four deaths occurred in a hospital setting.
The latest from the DoH dashboard also shows that four individuals were admitted into intensive care taking the total in ICU with Covid to seven
Hospital admissions and total number of inpatients have increased by 36 perc and 43 per cent respectively..

Hide AdThe DoH also recorded a further 3,715 infection since Friday and they breakdown as follows: July 17: 1,402; July 18: 537 and July 19: 1,776.
The number of people to test positive within the last seven days (7,354) is almost double the number of people to test positive over the previous seven days (3,947).
