Further 6,444 positive cases of Covid in NI

A further 6,444 positive cases of Covid-19 have been notified in Northern Ireland by the Department of Health today.

No further deaths of patients who previously tested positive for the virus were recorded in Friday’s daily update.

On Friday morning, there were 402 Covid-positive patients in hospital, down slightyl from 451 on Monday. Today there are 31 in intensive care.
