Covid-19: Over 40 volunteers providing support to Larne’s Factory area community
Larne Factory Community Forum’s co-ordinated community response to supporting people during the current crisis will continue to operate over the coming weeks and while the need remains.
The service will operate during the following days and times in the Co Antrim town: Monday – Saturday, 12 noon - 5pm.
Gareth McConnell, from Factory Community Forum, said: “We have been delighted with the support we have received with over 40 volunteers assisting us with deliveries as well as many kind donations from local companies and individuals.
“The system we have in place has worked really well and is in adherence with all Government guidelines.”
The service, he explained, also relies on local people making the organisers aware of who needs help and support.
