COVID-19 vaccine rollout begins in Southern Health Trust

Staff and residents of eight care homes were the first in the Southern Health Trust to receive the new COVID-19 vaccine today.

The trust is using the South Lakes Leisure Centre in Craigavon as a Hub for the vaccine distribution.

In an online statement the Trust said: “Our roll out of the COVID-19 vaccine programme has begun and we are delighted that residents and staff in eight local homes received their vaccines today.
