PSNI attend scene of city centre assault - streets cordoned off

Police are appealing for witnesses after a serious assault in Belfast City Centre earlier today.

It is understood that a man was stabbed during the incident.

It happened on Castle Street in Belfast shortly after 2pm todday.

Officers remain at the scene of the incident.
