“Hannah is a wee walking miracle, and I will say that again, a walking miracle,” he said in a YouTube video promoting the fund-raiser..

“She is progressing every day.

“I am only going up now twice a week to the hospital and it is like seeing a newborn changing with every visit.

“It is like seeing a newborn and seeing their progression. I am seeing that in two or three days.

“Every time I go up she is doing something new.

“But please keep praying for Hannah, please support her fund-raiser and please support our intensive care unit in the hospital”.

Explaining how he became involved in the fund-raiser, Rev Stanbridge said: “On May 12 just past I got a call from Ryan, one of church members, you get up to this farm as quickly as possible.

“When I arrived a catastrophic accident had occurred on the main road outside the farm in which Ryan lost his wife and his youngest daughter aged 3-years - his other daughter of 5-years was seriously injured.

“When I arrived there was one ambulance present and as things unfolded I began to realise that everybody involved in the accident were actually neighbours.

“And as things went on there was decision made by the ambulance crews that they had to get Hannah to hospital as quickly as possible.

“She was blue lighted to the Causeway hospital where she received treatment and then she was flown by helicopter to the Royal Victoria paediatric intensive care unit.

“I think At that time I was absolutely amazed at the treatment Hannah received there and we were totally blown away by the care Hannah received and also Ryan received”.

Rev Stanbridge added that months later he received a call from the ambulance crew in Ballycastle

“I was asked to mention to Ryan about doing a fund-raiser for Hannah,” he added.

“So when I went to Ryan he said no I don’t need a fund-raiser for wee Hannah buy one could be done for paediatric ICU in the Royal Victoria Hospital.

“So Hannah’s fund-raiser was birthed overnight”.

Rev Stanbridge is now set to take part in the fund-raiser from July 25 - July 26 - from 5pm to 5pm.

“Three paramedics and myself are going to walk for 24 hours around a circuit from Ballycastle seafront out to the Diamond in ballycastle and back down again,” he said.

“We are just going to continue like crazy men around the circuit for 24 hours until our feet are blistered.

“Anyone who is free should come along and support us” he added.
