WATCH: ‘I cannot underestimate this virus, it has been the virus from hell’ says Belfast pastor from his hospital bed

Pastor Lee McClelland from the Ark Church in Belfast posted a video from his hospital bed - wanting to reach out to all those who have sent their support.

In his message he says: “I cannot underestimate this virus.

“It has been the virus from hell

“You can literally feel it trying to suck the life right out of you - and that and that is exactly what it is doing, it sucks the life right out of you”.

He added: “I know so many people have been praying for me and asking the Lord to touch my life.

“A massive thank you for your continued prayers and encouragement.

“At times I have been too weak to respond to them.”

He also paid tribute to the NHS.

“The nursing staff, doctors, porters have been absolutely phenomenal, you could not ask for any better”.
