The luxury housing scheme in County Down offers a mixture of semi detached and detached homes.

‘Moira One’, a development of 88 homes, is located on the edge of Moira, just minutes from the thriving, historic village. Long a popular choice for house hunters, Moira boasts a strong sense of community, plus a thriving gastronomic and boutique shopping scene. Its historic atmosphere coupled with modern outlook continue to make it popular with families and young professionals alike and also with commuters, given its proximity to the M1 motorway, making it less than half an hour away from the centre of Belfast and some 20 minutes from the International Airport.

The new ‘Moira One’ housing scheme has been developed by Robert Mulligan of Moira Properties and Mayfair Homes. Mr Mulligan told the News Letter that the homes were designed with bi fold doors as standard at the rear “creating a real indoor outdoor life balance”.

Phase One was released on to the market on Monday, June 22, at 10am.

Mr Mulligan said: “We released the scheme on Monday at 10am to the market through agents Fetherston Clements and Robert Wilson and by midday we had 12 units sold in Phase One (17 units in total) at full asking prices from £200,000 to £340,000. We had to release the remaining units to buyers - the scheme has since sold out. Agents told us the phones were ringing off the hook and 250-plus parties registered their interest. The first house agreed was a detached unit at £340,000.”

Contractor for the scheme was DB Contracts. Architect, Warwick McCullough of HPA Architects.
