Could you be Northern Ireland's newest millionaire? Mystery £1m lottery winner sought

Northern Ireland’s newest millionaire could be hiding in Co Armagh, not even knowing they’ve hit upon a life-changing amount of money.

That’s because a winning Lotto ticket scooping a cool £1m was bought there this month, but a fortnight on from the draw has yet to be claimed.

The ticket hit five main numbers and a bonus ball in the October 14 draw, which comprised five, six, 21, 32, 36 and 37, plus a bonus ball of 59.

Andy Carter from National Lottery operators Allwyn asked everyone who played to check their tickets, adding: “If it isn’t yours, tell your friends, family and neighbours; let’s find our missing millionaire.”

Anyone not in possession of their ticket but who believes they have a genuine claim can still make a claim in writing to Allwyn, but it must be within 30 days of the draw.

If no-one comes forward with the winning ticket before April 12 next year, the money will be distributed to lottery-funded projects.
