Virtual Christmas concert by harpist Lesley and friends

Lesley normally organises a Christmas charity fundraiser at Drenagh House in Limavady.

The event annually brings together musicians, singers and friends of Lesley for an evening of festive song and fun - all in aid of charity.

However, Covid-19 restrictions this year meant that it was not possible to gather together for the Christmas concert - but that did not stop Lesley!

The dedicated charity fundraiser has organised a virtual Christmas concert and carols event which will be streamed on Facebook and YouTube on Monday, December 14 at 7.30pm.

A range of contributors have performed carols, songs and Christmas readings in advance, which have been packaged into a film of around 45 minutes in length.

The socially distanced, pre-recorded event aims to raise money for The Lewy Body Society and the Foyle Hospice.

The Lewy Body Society Patron, Miss June Brown (aka Dot Cotton from BBC’s Eastenders) will be taking part in the event by recording a reading.
