Established in October 2017, the charity is dedicated to being the on-going voice of Zachary Geddis, who suffered with mental health issues from the age of 16. The charity is run by Zachary’s family - Terry, Louise and Yasmin.

Yasmin Geddis said: “We are so proud to be able to announce a secret project we have been working on behind the scenes. If 2020 has taught us anything, it is to be appreciative of our local businesses and we are delighted to team up with Ground Espresso Bars and their many stores across Northern Ireland as a local charity to promote local people and community connection.

“As our final donation push of 2020 to raise important funds for ZGBTST, throughout December our lovely donation buckets will be placed in every store across the land, along with information leaflets on how the community of Northern Ireland can gain Mental Health Support from ZGBTST.

“Ground Espresso Bars have such a great connection with ZGBTST and pictured here is Rachel Elliot, manager of Ground Coleraine and dear friend and colleague of Zachary as he worked in the Portrush store in his late teens.

“If you are in store you will see the new logo on our donation buckets created especially for this collaboration which pictures a beautiful memory of Zachary, Rachel and dear friend Hannah Graham all in their Ground uniforms. We hope you visit Ground in the near future and see our display, take a leaflet and spread our message.

“Thank you to the Ground Family for this opportunity.”
