109 new cases of Covid-19 recorded in NI in 48 hours

The Department of Health in Northern Ireland has reported 109 new positive cases of Covid-19 in the past 48 hours.

No further deaths linked to the virus were recorded in the same period.

A total of 1,548,336 doses of Covid-19 vaccines have been administered to date.

The Department of Health was unable to update its Covid-19 dashboard on Saturday due to technical issues.
