Another 17 deaths have been reported of people in NI after testing positive for COVID-19.

The latest figures from the Department of Health reveal that there have been 404 deaths reported up to 9.30am on May 5.

This is a breakdown of how many people have died in your Local Government Area:

Belfast - 124

Antrim and Newtownabbey - 35

Lisburn and Castlereagh - 35

Mid and East Antrim - 28

Newry, Mourne and Down - 27

Causeway Coast and Glens - 26

Ards and North Down - 25

Mid Ulster - 23

Derry City and Strabane - 20

Also according to the DoH statistics 687 coronvirus patients are now being treated in NI hospitals.

And to date 4,012 people have been discharged from hospital.

Meanwhile 26 patients are being treated in intensive care with Covid-19 or suspected Covid-19 as of midnight on 4 May.

There have been 3,881 laboratory confirmed cases of the virus in Northern Ireland.
