Appeal after pedestrian seriously injured in collision

Police are appealing for information after a pedestrian was serious injured after being strick by a vehicle on July 12.

The collision happened in Lisburn - on the Knockmore Road, opposite the junction with Knockburn Drive - at approximately 4.10pm on Tuesday.

A PSNI spokesman said: “Police are treating this as a serious injury road traffic collision and I am appealing for anyone with any information that can assist with the investigation to contact Police in Lisburn on the non-emergency number 101, quoting reference number 1087 13/07/16.

“Alternatively, if someone would prefer to provide information without giving their details they can contact the independent charity Crimestoppers and speak to them anonymously on 0800 555 111.”
