Biker killed after colliding with cow
A motorcyclist has been killed after colliding with a cow.
The accident happened at Clarkes Cross in Co Meath at about 10.15pm on Monday, gardai said.
The 28-year-old man died at the scene, about two miles from Navan town on the N51 to Athboy, and the road was closed for several hours to allow forensic analysis of the crash site.
Gardai in Navan are investigating and have appealed for witnesses.
A total of 165 people were killed on the Republic’s roads last year.
