As well as having dementia, he cannot communicate and has anaemia.

It is believed he may have boarded the wrong bus home on November 10 and became confused when it followed an unfamiliar route.

He was last seen getting off the Fernabbey bus at 5.40pm and walking along the rural Lenamore Road in the direction of the border.

Hundreds of peoplehave been involved in ongoing searches for him along the border and in Inishowen.
