Wednesday evening into Thursday could bring a temporary blimp as a band of cloud moves west from England and Wales but the sunshine should return before Friday.

A Met Office spokesman said Tuesday will be warmer than Monday: “We might even see some 22C’s around the Fermanagh and Armagh areas.”

Looking further ahead, he said: “It’s looking settled right through to the end of the week, and we will see temperatures somewhere getting up to a 23C, most likely towards Fermanagh.
