Organised by the Portadown Supporters’ Society, the gathering is expected to be held at Shamrock Park in Portadown where the club is hosting fellow Premiership side Carrick Rangers on Saturday at 3pm.

A statement released today (Monday) outlined the group’s concerns over a number of issues connected to Portadown Football Club.

It said that the prime issue is the “lack of clarification and communication from the Board of Directors in regards to the management situation at the club for next season”.

It has called for a boycott of the top-flight Irish League match, and suggested that money be given instead to the Portadown Supporters’ Society for the time being.
