Co Down dad-of-three tragically dies in accident in Scotland
Conor Morgan from Kilcoo was seriously injured while working on a building site in Blantyre, South Lanarkshire around 9.45am on Wednesday.
It is understood the 45-year-old father-of-three had been unloading concrete blocks when the incident occurred.

Hide AdParamedics attended and Mr Morgan was sadly pronounced dead at the scene.
Police Scotland have said a post mortem examination will take place, but Mr Morgan’s death is not being treated as suspicious.
A spokesperson added: “The Health and Safety Executive have been informed and a report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal.”
Mr Morgan, who worked for Newry-based firm Re-Gen Waste Ltd, leaves behind his wife Shirleen and sons Gerard, Anthony and Jason.

Hide AdFather Sean Logan of St Malachy’s Parish Kilcoo said Mr Morgan’s death has stunned the close knit community.
He told the News Letter: “Conor was from a very religious family and he was a very faithful member of the parish.
“On Easter Sunday morning he attended open air mass with us before travelling over to Scotland, where he worked during the week.”
Describing Mr Morgan as a hard-working family man with a tremendous sense of integrity, Fr Logan added: “The parish has been traumatised by this tragic accident and our thoughts are with his wife and children.

Hide Ad“Conor was a loving husband and an adoring father. The family were in the process of building a new house. The fact that he was killed away from home makes it all the more difficult for his family.”
Paying tribute to Mr Morgan, his employer posted on Facebook: “We would like to extend our heartfelt sympathies to Conor’s family and circle of friends. He was a popular employee and will be sadly missed by the entire Re-Gen family.”
