Co Londonderry: primary school bus collides with van
No serious injuries were reported but one passenger was taken to hospital “as a precautionary measure”, a Translink spokesperson said.
The collision, between the school bus and a van, took place at around 8am on the Ballyhanedin Road between the villages of Claudy and Feeny in Co Londonderry.

Hide AdThe bus was carrying children to Cumber Claudy Primary School and St Colmcille’s Primary School.
The road was closed after the collision but was reopened at around 11.30am.
A PSNI spokesperson said: “A number of minor injuries have been reported.”
A spokesperson for Translink said: “Emergency services attended the scene, and one passenger was taken to hospital as a precautionary measure.
“An investigation into the circumstances of the collision will be carried out by Translink and the PSNI.”
DUP MLA Gary Middleton said: “Thankfully no one was injured. It could have been a lot worse.”
