'˜Community groups' can get up to £5,000 to remove terror murals

Belfast City Council is making grants available to what it describes as 'community groups' with a view to replacing paramilitary murals.

It said that a total funding pot of £25,000 is available for groups, up to a maximum of £5,000 per each individual bid.

Application forms can be downloaded from www.belfastcity.gov.uk/goodrelations.

The closing date is 4pm on Friday September 30.
