Court grants additional time to question man held in murder probe
Police investigating the murder of Lurgan woman Laura Marshall have been granted additional time by a court to question a 36-year-old man.
The body of 31 year old Laura was found in her apartment in the Victoria Street area of the town on Sunday evening.
Detective Chief Inspector Eamonn Corrigan from Serious Crime Branch said: “Police have been allowed an extra 36 hours to question the suspect.
“I am continuing to appeal to anyone who may have seen or had any contact with Laura over the weekend to contact Detectives at Mahon Road on 101 or alternatively information can be passed anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
“I also want to hear from anyone who saw or heard any activity at Laura’s home in Victoria Street over the weekend until Sunday evening at 5.30pm.”
