Man charged after Londonderry incident led to arrest
A man has been charged with theft, assault and drug possession after an incident in the early hours of yesterday morning.
The 26-year-old man was arrested in connection to the incident, which was reported to have occurred on Londonderry’s Great James Street.
A police spokeswoman said the man will face charges of theft, common assault, and possession of a class B illegal drug when he appears at Londonderry Magistrates Court tomorrow.
Added the spokeswoman: “As is usual procedure, all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.”
