Appeal for witnesses after overnight Tandragee break-in
Police have appealed for witnesses after a Tandragee break-in, which saw a crowbar-wielding man pass stolen items to waiting accomplices outside.
The burglary, which happened in what the PSNI described as “premises” on Markethill Road in the Co Armagh town, took place at around 2am on Saturday morning (6th).
A police officer said that a man carrying a crowbar broke into the premises before smashing a number of electrical boxes and rummaging around one of the rooms.
The burglar, described as being dressed in dark clothes with a dark coloured ski mask and red gloves with a white logo on them, took tins of drinks and a sum of money, passing them through a window to “a number of other accompanying males”.
Said PSNI Sergeant Hillis: “Enquiries are ongoing, and police would appeal to anyone with any information which might assist to contact 101, and quote reference number 152 of 06/12/25..” Information can also be handed in via www.psni.police.uk/makeareport, or anonymously through Crimestoppers at www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
