Car torched in Londonderry in 'hate-motivated arson' last night while two vehicles burned in Newtownards
A car has been torched in Londonderry.
Police were called to the fire on the Glenshane Road area of south-east Londonderry City at about 12.30am today, while the fire brigade put it out.

The PSNI said: “Thankfully no-one was injured, however one vehicle was damaged in the fire, which is being treated a hate-motivated arson.
"Enquiries are ongoing, and police would encourage anyone who may have witnessed this incident, or who may have CCTV or doorbell footage, to contact police on 101 quoting reference 27 12/06/2026.
"Alternatively, you can submit a report online at http://www.psni.police.uk/makeareport/”
Meanwhile the fire brigade said they were called to two cars on fire on Hartford Mews, a terraced cul-de-sac in Newtownards, at 12.48am.
The motive for that incident remains unclear.
All this is in addition to the disturbances reported by police earlier this morning, amid a wave of anti-immigrant unrest this week across Northern Ireland.
