Cash and jewellery stolen from home of pensioner - police appeal for information
Police are appealing for information following the report of a burglary at the home of ‘an older person’ in the Upper Newtownards Road area of east Belfast yesterday.

Detective Sergeant Rachel Miskelly said: “Sometime between 1 pm and 2 pm entry was gained to the property, it was ransacked and a sum of cash and jewellery were taken.
“Enquiries are continuing and we are appealing to anyone who witnessed anything suspicious in the area to contact police on 101, quoting reference number 1117 of 02/03/20.”
