City centre streets closed after armed robbery of cash-in-transit van

Academy Street and Exchange Street in Belfast City Centre are currently closed after the report of an armed robbery of a cash in transit van.

A PSNI spokesman said PSNI are currently at the scene investigating the incident.

The report was received at around 7.50am and enquiries are ongoing.

There are no further details at present.
