Fire at Dungannon property now being treated as arson

Police say they are now treating a suspicious fire at a property in Dungannon last night as arson.

The blaze in the Eglish Road area of the County Tyrone town was reported around 7.25pm.

The Northern Ireland Fire & Rescue Service notified police and extinguished the fire. There are no reports of injuries.

Diversions were temporarily in place and the road has now reopened.

Police are appealing for information.

Enquiries into the cause of the fire are ongoing and anyone who was in the area at the time or may have any information should contact police on 101 quoting reference 2097 of 18/02/21.
