Four-man burglary gang forces entry into home at night while householders inside
A four-man gang has raided a home in Lisburn while the householders were present.
It happened in the Lady Wallace Brae area – a new development in the north of the city – at about 9pm last night.
The men were masked, and “forced their way in” said police.
Detective Inspector Sarah Lewis said: “It is believed entry was gained through the back door.
"The house was ransacked, and a quantity of jewellery along with some cash was reported to have been stolen.
“The residents who were at home at the time were left shaken, but thankfully there were no reports of any injuries.
