Jail for driver who ploughed car into ditch and admitted 'I am under the influence of everything'

A vehicle was found on its side in a ditch in the Rathkeel Road area near Broughshane and now a woman has been in court for dangerous driving and driving whilst unfit.

Tanya Clarke, 36, with an address listed as Lanntara in Ballymena, also admitted insurance and driving licence offences and obstructing police by giving a false name on January 20 this year.

Ballymena Magistrates' Court, sitting today, was told fire service had been at the scene.

A prosecutor said the defendant admitted she was "under the influence of everything" and she didn't remember much of the incident.
