Man (55) arrested on suspicion of drugs offences - £50,000 of suspected cocaine found in nearby property
and live on Freeview channel 276
The man was arrested by officer from the South Area District Support Team in the South Promenade area of the town at around 7.05pm
Inspector Darren Hardy confirmed a nearby property was then searched and it was here that the PSNI discovered the suspected cocaine.

Hide Ad“A follow-up search was carried out at a property in the South Promenade area, and a quantity of suspected cocaine with an estimated street value of £50,000 was recovered.
"A sum of money and other drug paraphernalia were seized by police at the scene.
"The male was released on police bail pending further enquiries."
Inspector Hardy added: "We continue to target criminals who seek to gain from the illegal drugs trade and from the misfortune of others.
