Man arrested in Muckamore Abbey probe released on bail
A 30-year-old man arrested on Monday by detectives investigating abuse allegations at Muckamore Abbey Hospital has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
The man was the first person to be arrested since the allegations of ill-treatment of patients at the Co Antrim hospital emerged.
In recent months the PSNI has been investigating thousands of alleged incidents of physical and mental abuse of patients.
