Man due in court after teenager stabbed in Co Down
A 29-year-old man is due to appear in court this morning to face a charge of attempted murder after a teenage girl was stabbed in Newtownards on Saturday.
The charges are in connection with an assault at a property in Thomas Street during which a 19 year old woman sustained stab wounds to her arm, body and neck during the incident.
As is normal procedure all charges will be reviewed by the Public Prosecution Service.
