Man due in court following incident in Co Down
A man has been charged with a number of offences following an aggravated burglary at a property in Holywood.
Police have said the incident occurred in the Beech End area of the town on Saturday.
The 38-year-old man has been charged with aggravated burglary, possession of an offensive weapon with intent to commit an indictable offence and other offences.
He is due to appear before magistrates in Belfast on Monday (December 28).
A 30 year-old-man who was also arrested has been released on police bail pending further enquiries.
