Man sustains fractured skull in ‘very serious assault’ | PSNI appeaal for witnesses

Detectives investigating a serious assault at Drumbeg Drive in Lisburn have arrested an 18-year-old man on suspicion of grievous bodily harm with intent.

The incident happener on Friday 2nd April.

In a statement Detective Sergeant Bell said: “The man was arrested in the Lisburn area this morning and remains in custody as our investigation into this very serious assault, in which a man sustained a fractured skull, continues.

“I believe that there were others involved in the assault and that a number of people would have witnessed it as it took place in the street at around 6.00pm that evening.
