Man’s face suspected to be fractured after late-night attack in Belfast

A man’s face may have been fractured during a night-time attack in south Belfast.

Detectives are appealing for information following the assault at a shop on Botanic Avenue at about 12.45am on Monday, an area popular with students.

The attack is believed to have involved three males.

Three men aged, 31, 33 and 35 were arrested and later released on bail pending further enquiries.

The victim was taken to hospital for treatment.

Enquiries are continuing and police would appeal to anyone with any information in relation to this incident to contact detectives in Belfast on 101, quoting 49 of 15/03/21.
