A PSNI spokesperson said the men were arrested on suspicion of burglary and of fraud by false representation. As of early afternoon today, both were still in police custody.

According to the spokesperson, the burglary and school incident both took place on June 11 this year.

The burglary was reported at a property on Main Street in Drumquin, which lies in the Co Tyrone countryside between Omagh and Castlederg.

On the same day, the spokesperson said, there were reports of men “acting suspiciously around a number of businesses and a school in the Castlederg area”.
