Mobile phone, wallet and money stolen from men during armed robbery ordeal

Two men in their twenties were arrested after two men were threatened with a knife during a robbery in the Corporation Street area of Belfast on Saturday night.

A PSNI spokesman said the incident happened at around 9.35pm.

“The men then threatened the two men, with one of them armed with a suspected knife.

“The men then took a mobile phone, a wallet and a sum of money from the men and then made off from the scene.

“A short time later, two men aged 26 and 24 years old were arrested on suspicion of robbery and other offences following the incident.

“Both men are currently in police custody.”
