Ongoing security alert following report ‘device left in the area’
A security alert in Co Fermanagh is still ongoing this morning in the Wattlebridge Road area of Newtownbutler following a report that some type of device has been left in the vicinity.

In a statement a PSNI spokesman said: “We are currently investigating this report to establish an exact location of any such device.
“No roads are closed at this time.
“Members of the public living in, or travelling through the area are asked to be vigilant and not to touch any suspicious objects.
“Police would ask anyone who notices any suspicious objects not to touch them, but to contact police immediately by calling 999.”
