Prisoner (47) death in Maghaberry not COVID-19 related says NI Prison Service
The death of a 47 year-old prisoner in Maghaberry is not being treated as COVID-19 related, the Northern Ireland Prison Service (NIPS) has said.
The prisoner died on Friday morning - his next of kin have been informed.
As with standard procedure, the PSNI, Coroner and Prisoner Ombudsman have launched investigations into the death.
