PSNI looking for missing person Ernest Kells, 76, recover body and inform family

Police searching for missing person Ernest Kells, 76, have recovered a body from the Camowen River, close to the Cranny Road in Omagh.

A PSNI spokeswoman said that a post mortem will be carried out in due course to establish the cause of death but that, at this stage, the death is not being treated as suspicious.

The Kells family have been informed.

PSNI put out an appeal for Mr Kells, who has links to the Fivemiletown area, two days ago.

He was last seen in the Donaghanie Road area of Omagh at around 9.30pm on Tuesday March 31.
